| This pretty little pearl setting is 14 kt. yellow gold.
It will accept a 6 - 8 mm. half-drilled pearl or gem bead.
The peg is ribbed. As with all pearl settings, you may need to slightly enlarge the pearl opening with a reamer before setting. Be sure to do this before you add the glue.
You may also need to cut a bit off of the end of the peg so that your pearl will sit flush in the cap.
Once you've made the necessary adjustments and are satisfied with the fit, just add a drop or two of glue to the end of the peg and insert your pearl or bead. Super glue will work just fine. Allow to dry at least 24 hours before wearing.
