Round crescent style pre-notched ring casting.
One of our most popular styles.
Stone sizes range from 5 mm round to 14 mm round.
Stone sizes 12, 13 and 14 mm round are available in a stock size 7 only. All other stone sizes are available in stock finger sizes 5, 6, 7 and 8, but see "Ring Sizing" below.
Pre-notched and ready to set.
Made in the USA.

is the metal type just coated??

A:
Melanie, as previously noted, SS means sterling silver. Sterling silver, by definition, is 0.925 or 92.5 % silver. Plated items would never be described as sterling silver unless it was a sterling silver item that was gold plated. In that case, it would be described as "GOS" or "gold over silver".

A:
Melanie, when you look at the product page, you will see to the right of the photo a drop down list that says "Metal Type/Stone Size". At the present time, all of the rings that are in stock are sterling silver, abbreviated SS. The little question mark at the end of "Metal Type/Stone Size" can be clicked on as well and there you will find the legends as to what the abbreviations stand for. As noted, SS stands for sterling silver.
