Bail will accept chain up to 1.5 mm in diameter.

my stone is 5.36x4.26 - how well will it fit into this setting?

A:
Bonnie, thanks for the question. I think you should be fine with a 6 x 4 oval setting. If need be, you can manually tighten the prongs after setting by gently squeezing opposite prongs at the level of the girdle of the stone. Not too hard or you may pop the stone right out.
