Will accept an 11 mm. x 9 mm. emerald cut well proportioned faceted gemstone of your choice.
Not available in any other stone sizes.

Janice, that's a great question! Traditional emerald cut or rectangular cut settings are designed for stones that have cut corners. The prongs are located in the corners and will grasp the stone at the corners. The side set setting will also grasp the stone at the corners. A cushion cut stone doesn't have the traditional corners; they are rounded and so you need a setting that will grasp the stone at the sides, such as the Regalle style setting.
